Val Danza

Valerie, a.k.a Val Danza is a classically trained dancer. From the tender age of three she danced ballet. In 2009 she added Salsa and Bachata to her repertoire and finally fell in love with Kizomba and Urban Kiz. Ever since she has trained and mastered the craft of teaching those beautiful dances with her specialty in Urban Kiz.

Last but not least, in 2021, she was drawn into the beautiful world of Brazilian Zouk, training intensively and eventually starting an inspiring dance & teaching partnership with Rodrigo Henrique Teixeira, one of Oslo’s most distinguished Brazilian Zouk teachers.

Val’s dedication has resulted in her travelling around the world teaching Partnerwork and Ladystyling at major festivals and collaborating with both, local and international teachers. In 2018 she moved to Oslo to contribute to the growth of the dance community in Scandinavia.

She is known for her professionalism, positive energy and the ability to identify the needs of her students. Teaching the follower’s as well as the leader’s role, Val knows exactly how to break down the content for both sides. In class her enthusiasm and passion for teaching can be seen as all her students leave feeling confident and accomplished.
She values not only connection, technique and musicality but also emotions and creativity while paying attention to details and creating a fun and inspiring environment for her students to learn.
